 Q: What is RotSC?
A: It’s the deliberately cliché filled, profanity packed, fourth wall demeaning web comic starring three of the most recycled sprite comic characters on the internet, paradoxically taking its revenge on other terrible sprite comics by existing as one itself. If you can find a web cartoonist more heretical to his own hatred for lousy sprite comics or a web comic of lesser quality, humor, and overused, pixilated game company trademarks, then it's clear that I'm doing too good of a job at this.
Q: Why RotSC?
A: See the About Section.
Q: What characters are the most recycled anyhow?
A: You're saying you haven't witnessed the thousands of other sprite comics sucumbing to the depths of using characters such as Megaman, Link, Mario, and Final Fantasy sprites with different names and terrible resizing problems?
Q: Do you realize you just destroyed the flow of this F.A.Q?
A: Yes, and I regained it.
Q: When do you update?
A: Most fans will say not often enough because I'm neglectful to my comic and disappear for months of end despite their never having seen me before, but I try to update on mondays or fridays. Or rather, sometime during the week.
Fine, no schedule at all. I just update.
Q: Whats the story?
A: Remarkably similar to an acid trip of tremendous proportions, despite the fact that I've evaded drugs for the better part of my life. Furthermore, and to answer the question, there's not really a plot. It's really makes a parody of a plot at best.
Q: Wait, why is Stonerman in Mushroom Kingdom; hell, why are any of the other characters there? And why does Mushroom Kingdom look nothing like the actual Mushroom Kingdom?
A: I figure that the Mushroom Kingdom is a hub for all things sprite related as many sprite comics DO have mario related backgrounds, and it's fitting that all the sprites I use are also used in frequency with Mushroom Kingdom backgrounds and that the suburb-like feel of the backgrounds I use define the horrific rundown overusage of Mario sprites.
Or Stonerman just happened to be there because of a plot hole which I haven't yet justified by a response or because I forgot Link was going to Mushroom Kingdom and ended up putting Megaman there.
Also, conveniantly enough, this sort of thing supports of "parody of a plot" claim.
Q: "Parody of a plot"? What the hell.
A: Have you read the comic? The plotline is like talking to someone with A.D.D.
Q: Right, isn't it just a tagline to justify your neglegence for updating?
A: Maybe.
Q: Maybe?
A: Probably.
Q: Also, why is it that the characters often trade personas with one another?
A: Haven't made a tagline defending that yet.
Q: I like this comic! Can we affiliate!
A: Eheheh. Show me what your site is, presuming you have one, and I'll be the prick to decide. Email me
Q: Where can I find your sprites?!
A: The only sprites I don't make in the comic are the characters, unless I get bored and make them myself, but usually do not. Everything else is RPG Maker, Google searchified images, and so forth. Find what I use for yourself, I've had them so long I forget where they came from.
Q: You speak of despising sprite comics and yet you add to the problem by making your own crappy sprite comic, what gives man, you hypocritical bastard!?
A: That's really more of an insult that a question. And its clearly stated on the banner that I'm paradoxically solving the problem.
Q: Ah, well you also speak of liking comics; what are they?
A: Eh, the better ones. Like that final fantasy comic or that gamer comic.
Q: Aren't those a little vague?
A: Yup.
Q: You directly cited 8 Bit Theater! You're bogarting popularity from a popularer sprite comic!
A: Thats also more of an acusation and insult than a question. Furthermore, I consider that a cliche of one of many I promised to appear in the comic, and furtheruthermore, yes, I am being a prick like that.
Q: How can I contact you?
A: Click the little emailey banner on the newspost, assuming this FAQ isn't so out of date, and in which case it is, click BELOWWWW!
