New issue mothahf'ckuh!

Discovery of the Century! Hour!
Recently I was feeling a little nostalgic and I was looking around old websites I used to visit, and found my old 'The Webcomic List' site. Although its horribly out of date and many links are wrong, and the image I uploaded there never did appear correctly, I figured I'd dink around for a while.

By a freak accident, I pressed the 'compare comics' button. The query told me to find a comic, and, naturally, I tracked down Revenge of the Sprite Comics. I set the graph to display "ranking" and I refreshed the graph to show the data. The graph appears to be set up in a manner that is simply described as "lower on the graph means more popular. Higher on the graph means you suck," and, suprisingly, in March I was somehow really low on the graph.

Now, if you're any kind of a fan of my comic, you'd know (and possibly resent) that I didn't update at all in March. I made filler in Janurary. That was it. The fact that I was somehow very popular in March intruiged me, and so I decided to compare myself with a comic with a caliber infinitely wider than my own. Which comic you ask? That Final Fantasy comic that I am a colossal fan of; the comic that I allegedly have 'ciphoned popularity from'; and the comic that was apparently rated the third most popular webcomic on the internet. Thats right; despite all rational thinking I compared my comic with 8-bit Theater.

Once again, if you're any kind of fan of my comic, you're likely prepared to write my hate mail--of course, that would make you even less of a fan because my fans only know how to work the shoutbox (and I got rid of it! Hah!)--but please, as much as I'd love to be acknowledged for owning a website, even with hate mail, bite your toungue for a minute and keep reading.

When I set the graph to show "ranking" and refreshed it so it would display data according to Revenge of the Spritee Comic's ranking compared with 8-bit Theater's, this is what appeared:

In preschool, or possibly kindergartern for those who skipped preschool (you know who you are,) we are taught that red smeared together with blue equals purple. In this instance, you see purple.

Have you got any idea how significant purple IS in this graph? RotSC is purple; 8-bit is red. This means that for possibly an hour or two at best, I'm not sure how long, that my rank and Brian Clevinger's rank were equal.

Whether or not this is a horrible logical fallacy on my part because The Webcomic List isn't functioning properly, I certainly think this is exciting. I'm totally going to email Brian a billionth time with this rant as the subject and content.

Anyways, on to business--I AM going to update soon; don't worry. I am presently struggling to find a new comic update thingy that works the way I'd like it to, and after I find that said update thingy I will be reworking the site layout again so that it doesn't look like pig entrails on Firefox. For now, I've updated the copyright with Spam Poison. Hopefully this will solve the horrible problem with the comment spam.

(I am still lost as to how I will fix the ongoing time paradox problem.)

After that, I assure you, a new comic will be loaded on this main screen area-place. Also, I'll have somewhat of a surprise for you all.

EDIT: I'm scared.

DOUBLE EDIT: It turns out there was never a time paradox, I had just misused the PHP coding that shows the date in such a way that instead of showing the day I posted the news it would show how many days there are in the month I was posting in. Gee, that's not as fun as a time paradox.
